verest Express Tours & Travels was formed in 1981 under the stewardship of Mr. R. R. Pandey, the Chairman and CEO, a veteran with more than 35 years in the tourism industry. Its Managing Director, Mrs. C.L. Pandey, has more than 31 years of experience in the field. Since its establishment, Everest Express has grown into one of the largest travel agencies in Nepal. It is now the GSA for Singapore Airlines, Delta Airlines and Air Mauritius in Nepal and is one of the leading Destination Management companies of the country. It offers services to many popular Himalayan destinations, from Nepal to Tibet, Bhutan and Sikkim in India.

Everest Express employs 96 staff, and it has its own fleet of cars, coaches and four wheel drive vehicles. Its more than 15 multilingual guides are extensively trained by the government’s tourism training center and are all license holders registered by His Majesty’s Government of Nepal.

In 1995, the Ministry of Tourism of His Majesty’s Government of Nepal awarded Everest Express a certificate and trophy for being the second highest foreign exchange earning Travel Agency.
