The Larkya La-Pass, which cuts behind the Manaslu massif, is one of the magnificent routes, which offers some of the finest trekking in the Himalayan wilderness.

From Gorkha, the old capital of the most powerful king of Nepal, you trek up the wild Burr Gandhi River, through rough gorges slicing between Himalchuli (7890m.) a Ganesh (7429m). The trails are steep but your first sight of the classic peak of Manaslu (8156) dissolve the fatigue, and the Buddhist prayer flags and Chortens seem to offer spiritual support as you climb towards your goal-Larry La Pass (5153). The of Manaslu and the neighboring peaks are worth the effort, and time is spent on the pass taking photos or just preserving the scene in your mind’s eye. A steep descent into the Marshyandi Valley is rewarded with a delightful walk back along the river through small villages and cross over the throng La Pass (5418m) and approaching to the Kaligandaki valley, ending the trek in Jomsom.
