Hemis - Darsha by Rupshu

Area: India(Hemis).
Height: 4200m-6400m.
Days: 9 or 11

Not a restricted area, a very different landscape; this trek begins. From Dat you can approach the high Tibetan plateaus (Chang-Tang) 400 nomads live in the Rupshu area, a beautiful place. The best period to trek in this region is from July to September starting from Leh to Hemi by bus. This trekking can be done for 9days or 11 days, according to you suitability.

Day 01: Hemis - Shang (Sumdo), 3/4-hrs walk.
Day 02: Shang (Sumdo) - Latza Kongmaru (4800m), 7/8hrs walk.
Day 03: Latza Kongmaru - Kongmaru-la (5150m) - campsite of the Langtang Chu, 6/7 hrs walk.
Day 04: Campsite of the Langtang Chu - Zalung Karpo-la - Sorra, 8/9-hrs walk.
Day 05: Sorra - Dat (4200m), 5-hrs walk.
Day 06: Dat - Yar-la (4950m) - Lungmo Che, 6/7-hrs walk.
Day 07: Lungmo Che - Lun, 5/6-hrs walk.
Day 08: Lun - Marang-la (about 5300m) - Takh.
Day 09: Return back to Leh for 9 days trekker. For the 11 days trekker, from Ladakh -Baralacha-la (4650m).
Day 10: Baralacha-la - Darsha.
Day 11: Darsha - Bus to Manali. Drive about 11 hrs.

Note: It is not possible to trek on the season of July month.

Ladakh and Zanskar

Area: India(Ladakh).
Height: 4000m-5150m.
Days: 18

Ladakh, Spiti and Lahaul former kingdoms which have been a part of India since 1833.The inhabitants there are Hindus, Buddhist and Islam to be seen in the lower valleys. Slowly cultures have developed in some of the valleys still known for political and geographical reasons, have retained a unique character. Lahaul and Spiti are preserved for their Buddhist heritage.

Day 01: Delhi - Kulu by flight. From airport 2 hrs drive to Manali. Overnight
Day 02: Manali - Leh by bus (240km) Othang pass 4000m and Baralacha pass (4800m) and camp at Sarchu.
Day 03: Sarchu - Leh 500 to 5300mts,drive by bus/car. Stay at Leh.
Day 04: Visit Leh in the morning. In afternoon by bus or private jeep/car to Hemis. On the way the monastery Thipsay and stanka can be visited. Arrive to Hemos and camp.
Day 05: trek Hemis - Sumdo. 5 hrs walk. Camp 4500m.
Day 06: Sumdo - Chukirmo (4700m) 4 hrs. Walk and stop for acclimatization . Camp at Chukirmo.
Day 07: Cross the Konmaru la (5150m)Down to Suri Nimaling (4800m) camp.
Day 08: Nimaling - Langtha Chu. 7/8 hrs.
Day 09: Langtha - Zalung karpo 6 hrs.
Day 10: We reach to valley of Karnak or Kanak. We camp near river Tangle.
Day 11: Tangle - Dat, we pass Yarla (4350m) 5/6 hrs.
Day 12: Dat - Lumotche, we pass (4900m) 7/8 hrs walk.
Day 13: De Lumotche - Thangala, we join the route for Leti Manali after we reach small market. Overnight.
Day 14: Thangala - Sakang. 6/7 hrs camp.
Day 15: Sakang - Bus to Manali.
Day 17: Reach to Manali.
Day 18: Manali - by bus or car to Airpar Kulu.

Mount Holy Kailash Trek Zhangmu

Area: Zhangmu (Around Mt. Kailash).
Days: 14

A sacred mountain of Tibet, pilgrimage for both Hindus and Buddhists. The highlight of this trek is to visit trek around Mt. Kailash, visit the holy lake of Manasarowar and meet a large number of pilgrims etc, for there is a throne of Shiva or a natural Mandala or the epicenter of Tantra.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu - Zhangmu. Overnight on Hotel.
Day 02: Drive from Zhangmu - Lake Peigusto. Overnight on camp.
Day 03: Drive from Lake Peigusto - Saga. Overnight on camp.
Day 04: Drive from Saga - Paryang. Overnight on camp.
Day 05: Drive from Paryang - Lake Manasarowar. Overnight on camp.
Day 06: Drive form Lake Manasarowar - Dharchen. Overnight on camp.
Day 07: Dharchen, trekking around Mt. Kailash. Overnight on camp.
Day 08: Trekking to be continued around Mt. Kailash. Overnight on camp.
Day 09: Drive to Lake Manasarowar. Overnight on camp.
Day 10: Manasarawor - Paryang. Overnight on camp.
Day 11: Paryang - Drive to Saga. Overnight on camp.
Day 12: Saga - drive to Lake Peigusto. Overnight on camp.
Day 13: Lake Peigusto - Zhangmu. Overnight on camp.
Day 14: Drive Zhangmu - Kathmandu.
