Rafting over the rivers of Nepal

River are graded on a scale of one to six, with one being a swimming pool and six a one-way ticket to your marker. Four is considered to be quite challenging without being exceedingly dangerous to the novice raft. Five require some previous river experience.

National Parks from the world’s highest peak, the Mt. Everest in the north, to the dense black forests at the foot hills and stretching beyond, Nepal, within its small bound, possess 14 National Park and Wildlife Reservation.

Royal Chitawan National Park ( 932 sq km. ) is situated 170 km. South-East of Kathmandu at RaptiRhinos in National Parks Valley. It is listed as a world Heritage Site and is the most popular safari destination in Nepal. It covers a unique ecosystem, containing hills, ox-bow lakes and flood plains. Dominated by sal forests, the park has 50 species of grasses. The 43 species of animals include the one-horned rhino, Royal Bengal tiger, gharial crocodile, gaur, wild elephant, four-horned antelope, striped hyena, pangolin, gangetic dolphin, monitor lizard, pythons and more than 350 species of birds. Visitors to Chitawan may view game of elephant back excursions, nature walks, canoe trip, tribal community and their traditional dance etc.
