About New Solitary
Lodge
New
Solitary Lodge is a medium sized guest house. The rooms are bright
and face north providing guests with a wonderful view of the local
hills and an uninterrupted view of the mighty Himalayas with Machupuchare,
the Annapurnas and Lamjung Himal rising high above the township at just an
arms length.
 Our
guesthouse is located away from the main road making it quieter than many
of the other lodges. The lodge is within a few minutes walk of Pokhara’s
Fewa Lake, the largest lake in Nepal with its bustling shopping area
adjacent to its banks.
The
lodge has a large garden lush with flowers beds and tropical fruit trees
where you can relax at a table and have a meal or just enjoy a drink. We
pride ourselves on our family atmosphere and hope you will enjoy our
hospitality and the facilities and services we provide.

Deluxe
Rooms : A typical deluxe room has a bathroom with continuous
solar hot water available. Each bathroom has a bath tub and shower,
basin and western toilet for your convenience. Deluxe
rooms have satelite TV (BBC/CNN News, Sports etc) and feature
quality furnishings and fantastic views. |

Standard
Rooms : Our
standard rooms are large, bright and open featuring excellent
mountain views, TV, roomy bathrooms with basin, continuous hot water
for showering and a western toilet. The furnishings are comfortable
with a writing table, couch and coffee table in each room.

Rooms : The
economy rooms are bright and fresh. Located by the garden they offer
the budget traveler an affordable retreat to a comfortable room with
a large bathroom with shower, basin and western toilet . |

busiest time is October and November so please book your room well in
advance. At quieter times we need less notice to take bookings. Please

Restaurant of New Solitary Lodge

Roof
Top Restaurant : The roof top restaurant has a panoramic view of
the mountains. From here you can have a meal and a beer, enjoying
the mountains from the early dawn into the night when they are lit
by the moon. Our restaurant specializes in a wide variety of
cuisines to cater for most tastes. Special meals can be
prepared on arrangement. |

Travel
Service of New Solitary Lodge

New
Solitary Lodge is ideally situated if you want to enjoy some rafting
or do some trekking in the Himalayas: a few days to a few weeks. Air
tickets, bus tickets and arrangements for rafting and trekking can be
made at the lodge. Reliable and competent porters and guides
can also be arranged. |

Location

The
nearest international airport is Kathmandu from where you can either
take
a 30 minute flight to Pokhara Airport or take a tourist bus down the
Kathmandu Valley. New Solitary Lodge is only 5 minutes from the airport
and bus terminal. We will gladly assist you in your transfer.
