Day 3 Visit Bhaktapur city, Pashupatinath and Boudhnath temples. Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 2 Sightseeing of Kathmandu and Patan cities.  Visit: Patan Darbar square, Krishna temple, Golden temple, Khumbheswor temple, Tibetan Refugee camp.  Afternoon visit-Swoyambhunath, Darbar Square of Kathmandu and Old bazaar etc. 
Day 3 Visit Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath and Boudhnath. Drive to Nagarkot for beautiful sunrise and sunset over Himalaya. Overnight in Nagarkot.
Day 4 Walk ( Hike ) 4 hrs downhill through the trail of interesting villages, rice fields, forests.Overnight to Dhulikhel.
Day 5  Hike 4 hrs to Panauti, an old interesting village through Namo Buddha for interesting  view, nature Photographs and culture. Drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 6 Transfer to airport for the flight back home.

B.      Trekking :

Himalayan Shangri-La is the paradise for walker & trekker. Trekking could be as easy as like walking in the plain area or as difficult and adventure in high altitude depending upon the type one likes to plan.

Trekkers have the possibility of enjoying not only the amazing beauty of Himalaya Vista but traditional village life of different ethnic groups living in different regions with life style untouched for centuries.

Does not matter for what purpose one likes to do trekking, Nepal offers a wide varieties of attraction in Himalayan Vista of flora & fauna, botanical, cultural, anthropological, wild life and many more to explore in untouched areas.

 How we operate our treks:

The villagers and the porters traditionally use most of the trekking routes in Nepal.  We generally make and recommend your trekking routes in such trails or off the beating path with the help of our professional guides. We design our treks in such a way that the trekkers will have enough time to rest, photograph and enjoy the nature on the trail. All our treks are organized by professionally trained guides, Sherpas and Sardaar. 

The day trek begins at about 7.30 am after having tea and a bowl of warm water for washing.  There will be full breakfast with tea or coffee. 

Morning Trek will be of 3 or 4 hrs and a warm lunch will be served on the way.  Our Sardar will take care of your needs and will help you along the trail.  The trekkers have to carry only their small belongings that are required daytime.  After lunch there will be walk of about 2/3 hours depending upon the availability of a good camping site with water.  Dinners are hot Nepali or Continental food prepared and served in a tent. High quality tents & foam sleeping mattresses are provided along with a hygienic toilet tent.  

On should be physically fit to trek 3 to 7 hrs a day.  

In main popular trekking routes one can trek in two ways :                                              Top

b.      Standard Trekking ( Full services ). 

In Tee House Trekking we provide Sherpa Sarder, Porters, good accommodation in neat and clean guesthouses on the way with 3 time foods – Breakfast, Lunch, dinner, Conservation fees,transportation etc.

In Standard trekking we provide transport from Kathmandu and back with fresh meals cooked in trekking areas, Sherpa Sarder, Porters, Conservation fees. All equipment – sleeping bags, mattresses, Tents: Sleeping, Dining, Toilet, etc. 

Season:

From September to April is the most recommended period for trekking as sky is clear and weather is pleasant. June to August is the monsoon season, which could be unpredictable for trekkers. 

A.    Short treks and hikes :

1.   1 / 2 days hikes around Kathmandu valley. 
There are many beautiful trails for day hike or days which goes through villages, rice fields cultural areas of Kathmandu. 

2.    3 days Kathmandu valley Shivpuri trekking:
This trek starts from Budhanilkantha. Easy trek with short trekking hrs, beautiful view of Ganesh Himal, Gaurishanker and other peaks. There are two routes 
a. one goes back to Kathmandu  
b. Another to Nagarkot. Overnight will be in tents.

3.    4 days trek Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Panauti, Namobuddha and drive to Kathmandu.
      The trek starts from Sundarijal with overnights on the way in tents and guesthouses. 

4.    4 days Royal trek. 
The trek is very popular as Prince Charles once did it for its beautiful nature, forests, village lives on the way.
Drive/ Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara  and further drive 1 hr to trek to Kalikasthan - trek to      Syaglung - Trek to Chisapani - Trek to Begnash and drive to Pokhara.

 

B.    Trekking in Annapurna reason: 4 to 28 days.

Annapurna massif of the Himalayan mountain system, north central Nepal, is one of the highest massifs in the world.  It is 56 km (35 mi) long, culminating in two peaks, Annapurna 1 (8078 m/26,504 ft above sea level) and Annapurna 2 (7937 m/26,041 ft).

Annapurna trek offers spectacular views of Machapuchhare (Fishtail peak), Dhaulagiri and the massive Annapurna range.  On the way one visits the villages of Gurung, Thakalis and Magar who are famed as the Gurkhas shoulders.  Highlands of rice growing fields, rhododendron forests, beautiful mountains are other spectacular sights on this region.                                                   

1.         Punhill ( Gorepani ) trek : 8  days .                                                                    Top

Day 1- 8 Fly/Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara. Drive from Pokhara ½ hr to Phedi and trek 4 hrs to Potana. Trek to Landrung –    trek to Grandung – trek to Tarapani – trek to Gorepani –  trek to Punhill and back to Punhill  rest day – trek to Ulleri – trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara. 

If the trekkers has good condition & less time, one can do this trek in 6 days as well.

2.            Jomsom, Muktinath Trek: 12 days.

Day 1- 12 Drive / Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Trek to Dhampus (1799 m) – trek to Landrung – trek to Tadapani – trek to Ghorepani ( 2855 m ) – trek to Tatopani – trek to Ghasa – trek to Larjung ( 2560m) – trek to Jomsom ( 2713m) – trek to Muktinath ( 3802m) – trek to Jomsom – fly back to Pokhra and to Kathmandu. 

(This trek can be done other way in 8 days. Fly to Jomsom and trek down to Pokhara.)

3.            Annapurna Sanctuary trek: 13 days.  

Day 1-13

Drive / Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhra & trek to Dampus - Trek to Landrung – trek to  Chumrung – Himalayan Hotel ( 2600m) – Machhapuchere base camp ( 3850m ) –   Annapurna Base Camp 3900m – trek to Dovan ( 2540m ) – trek back to Chumrung – trek to Tadapani –Trek to Ghorepani  2855m – trek to Tirkhedhunga – trek to Chandrakot – trek to Pokhara.

 4.    Round Annapurna trek ( Manang & Thorung ): 20 days.

Day 1-20

Drive from Kathmandu to Gorkha & Start trek to Luitel ( 579m) – trek to Tarkughat – trek to Phalesangu – trek to Khudi – trek to Bahundanda – trek to Jagat – trek to Dharapani ( 1943m) – trek to Chame – trek to Pisang (3170m) – trek to Manang (3540m) – Manang rest – trek to Thorung Phedi ( 4420m)- trek to Muktinath via Torungla Pass ( 5410m ) – trek to Marpha ( 2667 m) – trek to Kalopani – trek to  Kalopani ( 2530m) – trek to Tatopani - trek to Ghorepani ( 2855m) – trek to      Tirkhedhunga – trek and drive to Chandrakot and Pokhara. 

 

5. Mustang Trek: 10 days. This trek requires a special permit from Government and a liaison will accompany the groups or individual.      

Day 1-10

Fly Kathmandu to Jomsom via Pokhara and trek to Chussang ( 2,850m ) – trek to Samar( 3,530m ) – trek to Ghiling ( 3,150 m ) – trek to Charang ( 3,482m ) – trek to Lo Manthang ( 3,722m ) – trek to Ghami ( 3280m ) – trek to Chusang ( 2,850m ) – trek to Muktinath ( 3,280m ) – trek to Jomsom ( 2,713m ) – Fly back to Kathmandu via Pokhara.

 

C. Langtang Region, Ganesh Himal & Manaslu: Middle Nepal : 4-18 days                        Top

Trekking in central Himal offers a diversity of different tropical and cultural variations.  Gurungs  and Tamangs inhabit lower regions and higher regions by Sherpas and Tibetians.  This range is more fertile and grows different crops. 

Most of areas of the Langtang Valley are covered by National Parks which is rich in birds, flowers and rare animals.  For cultural and easy treks, mid Nepal trek is more advisable.

 1.         Gorkha – Pokhara trek : 7 days.

Day 1- 7

Drive from Kathmandu to Gorkha and start trek to Luintel – trek to Tarkughat – trek to Phalesanghu  – trek to Baglungpani – trek to Nalma – trek to kharputar – trek to     Pokhara.

 

2.            Helambu trek: 9 days.

Day 1-9

Drive kathmandu to Sundarijal and start trek to Chisapani (2,194 mtr) – trek to        Taramarang (960 mtr) – trek To Kakani (2,058 mtr) – trek to Melamchi village (2,500 mtr) – trek to Tharipati  (3,597 mtr) – trek to Kutumsang (2,438 mtr) – trek to  Patibhanjyang (2,144 mtr) – trek to Shivapuri (2,421 mtr) – trek and drive to            Kathmandu via Budhanilkantha.

 

3.            Gosaikunda ( Langtang ) trek : 12 days.

Day 1-12

Drive Kathmandu to Dhunche (1,950mtr) – trek to Syabru (2,23 mtr) – trek to Lama   hotel (2,708mtr) – trek to Langtang (3,441mtr) – trek to Kyanjin Gompa and Gomna  Chowk (3,280mtr) – trek to Syabru – trek to Sing Gompa (3,580mtr) – trek to         Gosaikunda (4,380mtr) trek to Ghopte (3,480 mtr) – trek to Kutumsang (2,480mtr) – trek to Chisapani (2,194mtr) - trek and back to Kathmandu via Sundarijal.

D. Everest region : 5 - 25 days.

Khumbhu Region is the most popular trekking area of Nepal because of Mount Everest and the world famous Sherpa climbers.  Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Sherpa are the international personalities who have made this region most popular for world trekkers.  While trekking through the National Park forest, monasteries and Sherpa villages, unforgettable friendliness and hospitality is the rule.  Namchhe Bazaar, the old traders center and Tyangboche, with it's magnificent snowcapped vista and monastery will invoke sweet and breathtaking memories.

 1.            Tyangboche, Everest region trek : 7 days.

Day 1-7 Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla ( 2652m) and start trek to Phakding – trek to Namchhe Bazaar – trek to Tyangboche ( 3869m )  – Rest and enjoy the beauty of Himalya.Visit monastery – trek to Khumjung ( 3779m ) – trek to Lukla – Fly back to Kathmandu.

2.            Everest Base camp / Kalapatthar  trek : 12 days.

Day 1- 12

Fly from kathamandu to Lukla and start trek to Phakding – trek to Namchhe Bazaar (3446m) – visit Hotel Everest and bazaar – trek to Tyangboche – trek to Pheruche – trek to  Lobuche ( 4930m) – trek to Kalapatthar, Base camp ( 5545m) back to Lobuche – trek to Tyangboche – trek to Khumjung – trek to Phakding – trek to Lukla – Fly back to Kathmandu.

 

3.         Gokyo trek from Jiri : 20 days.

Days 1

Drive from Kathmandu to Jiri overnight. Trek to Bhandar (2194m) – trek to Sete ( Sagar ) –  trek to Juni besi – trek to Trakshindo – trek to Kharikhola ( 2070m ) – trek to Surkey – trek to Jorsale – trek to Namchhe bazaar ( 3446m)  - trek to Khumjung ( 3979m) – trek to Phortse (  3849m) – trek to Luza ( 4360m) – trek to Gokyo ( 4750m ) – Rest and acclimatization – trek to  Chola Pass ( 5420m ) – trek to Lobuche – trek to Tyangboche – trek to Namchhe bazaar – trek  to Lukla – Fly to Kathmandu.

 

E. Adventure treks and peaks:                                                                                           Top

1.      Makalu Base Camp Trek:

This trek leads to the remote area of Arun Valley in the far eastern part of Nepal.  It offers short trekking, climbing peaks such as Barun east, Sherpani and others. Requires a special permit & a liaison.

Trekking period – 18 days.

2. Kanchanjungha (Far east Nepal trek ):

The 3rd highest peak (28,168ft) of the world.  This area was closed to foreigners until 1988.  It offers a chance to explore the virgin wilderness and encounter mountain ethnic groups of Nepal like the Rai and Limbu.  It provides wild life, rhododendron forest, birds and sightseeing from the sub-tropical terai to a harsh high altitude landscape

Trekking period – 23 days.

3. Around Rara lake trek :

This trek offers natural beauty in the remote area of west Nepal, surrounded by abundant flora and fauna. Rara lake lies at 2980m. This is the biggest lake and is famous for its beauty, birds and animals like Red Panda, Ghorals, black deers etc. This trek is specially paradise for naturalist, botanists and bird watchers.

Trekking days  – 11 days.

4. Dolpo trek :

Trek to this region requires a special permit and liaison officer from Government. Resembling to Tibetian Plateau and because of its remoteness, this is a real adventure. Poksundo lake, deep jungle, water falls and many rare animals like snow leopard, blue sheep  and musk deer are adventure to find on the way in trail. Requires a special permit and liaison.

Trekking days – 20 to 25 days.

5.      Rowaling trek : 20  days.

6. Trek to holy Kailash and lake Mansarober:

For Hindus and Buddhists of Nepal and India there is no holier place than Kailash where Lord Shiva once resided. For trekkers, a real enchanting trek to explore for its richness in wilderness, vegetation, and many unknown animals. 

Total tour days – 14  days.

C.            Rafting fun & adventure:

Wild White Water Rafting of Nepal offers an excellent way of enjoying river rafting and viewing the beautiful natural beauty where even roads and trails have not reached.  On the way, one will enjoy various recreation activities like camping on the sandy beaches of rivers, swimming, sunbathing, bird watching, sightseeing and beautiful remote villages.  Well-trained and experienced guides help to enjoy a great trip.

There are many rivers coming down from Himalaya for rafting and canoeing.

For all river rafting, one requires rafting permit from the Government of Nepal.  It takes one day prior to the departure for rafting to obtain permit.                                                                          

D.   Bhutan and Sikkim Program:

Bhutan is a rare country in the world, which is untouched and unspoiled by the modern western culture. It still possesses old traditional and culture value.

The country’s scenic mountain, flora and fauna and its nature will definitely give the guests a real memorable holiday’s impression. The Buddhist culture and its old monasteries are high lights of the visits.

For this the Government of Bhutan allow only limited numbers of tourists to the country.

Drive in the morning to Drugyel Dzong and on return visit a typical Bhutanese farming house.Sightseeing of Paro Bazaar. After lunch drive to Ta Dzong followed by a short walk to Paro Rimpung Dzong.

Day 5

A short drive to Satsam Chorten followed by a 2 hr. trek to Takttang Tea house. Lunch at the tea house return back to Satsam Chorten for a drive to Thimpu.

Day 6

Sightseeing of Memorial Chorten, National Library, Handicrafts EmporiumTashichho  Dzong.

Day 7 Drive to Punakha 3 hrs across the Dochula pass. Lunch at Khuru Camp.
Day 8

In the morning visit a typical farm house. Enjoy butter tea with puffed rice. Visit      Wangdi Phodrang Dzong and return to Khuru camp.

Day 9 Drive to Dochula for lunch and commence drive to Paro. Visit Paro Bazar.
Day 10  Flight to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Rest and shopping day.
Day 11 Visit of Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath temple and Bhaktapur.
Day 12 Transfer to airport for the flight back home.

3.            Explore Kathmandu, Darjeeling and Sikkim - 10 days.

Day 2 Sightseeing of Kathmandu and Patan cities:  Visit: Patan Darbar Square, Krishna temple, Golden temple, Khumbheswor temple, Tibetan Refugee Camp.  Afternoon visit-Swoyambhunath, Darbar Square of Kathmandu and Old bazaar
Day 3

Transfer to airport for the Flight ( 1 hr. ) to Bhadrapur from and drive 1 hr. to  Siligudi.Drive From Siligudhi in a jeep to Gangtok for 4 hrs. Transfer to hotel located in the center. Rest day.

Day 4

Drive to Rumtek monastery and sightseeing of Bazaar of Gangtok, 7th Point,     Flower show, Choteng Monastry. Directorate of handicrafts and handlooms,        Enjoy monastery, Do drup chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, Botanical      garden. Overnight in Gangtok.

Day 5 Drive to Peling 140 Km for 7 hrs . Overnight.
Day 6

Visit : Pemayangtse monastry, Khecheopelri lake, Rimbi water falls,        Kanchenzonga water falls, Dentam bazaar, Singshore bridge, Chagey falls. Enjoy beautiful view of Kanchunjunga  Overnight.

Day 7

Drive 4 and ½ hrs to Darjeeling and transfer to hotel. Sightseeing of Monastery,   Mountaineering club, Chaurastha and old Bazaar.

Day 8

Early morning drive ( 1 hr.) to Tiger Hill for beautiful sunrise. Drive to Batashe       Danda, Rock garden, zoo etc. Overnight.

Day 9

Morning drive(4 hrs) to Bhadrapur, Nepal. Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to          hotel. Rest day. 

Day 10 Visit of Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath temple and Bhaktapur. Shopping day.
Day 11 Transfer to airport.

4.      Nature Hiking tour :                                                                                                  Top

The day hiking tour for nature and for village life. Each day hiking will be of about 5/6 hrs walk with lunch packet and will be returned to hotel for overnight.

Day 1 Fly to Paro.  
Day 2 Tour of Dofu Valley, Tadzong Museum, Rimpung Dzong by walk.  
Day 3 Tour of Bondey valley, Hermitages and Gorena by walk.  
Day 4 Tour of Tiger nest, Kyichi Monastery.  
Day 5 Drive to Dochula Pass to view mountains and valleys eastwards have picnic lunch an drive to Thimpu.  
Day 6 Day walking tour of Thimpu.  
Day 7 Day at lelisure and drive to Paro.  
Day 8 Fly back to Kathmandu.  

5.      Manas Nature Trek :

This trek offers wild life adventure, trekking through wild areas of dense forest along the Mangdi Chu to the Wildlife Sanctuary of Manas near the Indan border. The area of Khen Dzongkha has very little contact with the outer world and the ethnic tribe of Khengpas lead a life quite different than other people of Bhutan. Manas Wildlife National Park, a home of Bengal Tiger, Rhinoceros and many species of wild animals and birds.

Day 1 Fly to Paro.  
Day 2 S/S of Paro.  
Day 3 Drive to Thimpu.  
Day 4  Sightseeing of Thimpu.
Day 5 Drive to Tongsa.  
Day 6 Drive to Shemgang.
Day 7/11 Trek commences from Yebi Lapcha towards Mangdi Chu. Trek along the river to the plains of Manas. After crossing the river on the wooden ferry to arrive at Manas wild life Sanctuary.  
Day 12/13 Wild life safari at the back of elephant.  
Day 14 Drive to Siliguri ( India ) and further drive to Biratnagar ( Nepal ).  
Day 15 Flight  to Kathmandu.  

Trekking in Bhutan : There are many interesting places for trekking in Tibet.
