Trekking

Trekking in Nepal means a walking trip following trails, many of which have been used for communication and trade for many years. Trekking is not mountaineering. Mountaineering expeditions on their approach marches, but most are use by Nepalese some of the popular trekking for everyday travel and trade. A trekking trip can be of any length one chooses. There are popular short treks around the Kathmandu and Pokhara valley, which only take a day to complete; there are longer treks around Annapurna and Everest region lasting from a week to a month.

In 1991, opening the upper reaches of the Kali Gandaki valley known as Mustang Nepal gave additional adventurous attraction to the trekkers. Known as" Forbidden land", a journey to Mustang is a journey of remarkable contrasts. Stark Tibetan landscapes contrast with lush rice field and Hindu shrine with cliff hanging monasteries.

1^st Day: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport. Transfer to Hotel & stay over night .

The tiny settlement of Nagarkot clings to a hilltop east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2.117m above sea level, for from city noise and traffic. Nagarkot is famous for its sunrise and a panoramic view of the major peaks of Nepal including Mt. Everest, Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang and Gaurishanker.

Pokhara is Nepal's second most popular tourist destinations. This valley has quietly won the heart of travellers from around the world. Many visitors find that their most lasting impression of Nepal is Machhapuchhe-srazor-edged " Fishtail" peak piercing the skyline and reflected in the Himalchuli also provide a magnificent view.

2 Night 3 Days

1^st Day: Arrival in Pokhara, transfer to the hotel, cultural programme in the evening.
2^nd Day: Sunrise tour to Pokhara view point at 5 AM (Bindhabasini Temple, Mahandra Cave, Seti gorge, Museum and Davis Fall) till 2 PM, then lunch and shopping.
3^rd Day: Departure transfer to Airport or Bus park.

  Lumbini is the birthpalace of the Lord Buddha and an important pilgrimage destinations, as it is important palace for Buddhist as well as Hindus. The broken Ashoka's Pillar remains in an old monastery. Images of Buddha's mother, Maya Devi, still preserved in Lumbini.
