The Everest or Solukhumbu region is the most popular trekking area in Nepal.Khumbu is famous not only for its proximity to the worlds highest mountain, but also for its Sherpa villages and monasteries.

Trekking in Langtang and Helambu area of Nepal:

This area is located  in the central part of Nepal north of Kathmandu. It is around 5000m high and the best time to trek here is October, November December, March,April. However short treks are possible almost year
round.
