Nature and Bio-Diversity Conservation Projects :

The Temple Tiger Jungle Lodge project was conceived by our Director as an environment friendly endeavor as it meant giving everyone a chance to witness wildlife in their natural habitat along with Nature and Biodiversity Conservation. Not a single tree has been cut down to accommodate the lodges and construction has been completed with minimum destruction to Nature.

The original inhabitants of the jungle the Tharu’s, have been relocated in villages around the jungle and have been educated on conservation issues. There is a shop on the Temple Tiger premises promoting and selling Tharu artifacts of which 50% of the sale goes towards the development of the community. Various other such schemes have been taken up by Temple Tiger in our bid to promote local development.
