The extra activities you get from Tiger Camp Packages with jungle drive (which normally you do not get, if you stay "inside the park") are: (1) Visit to Elephant Breeding Centre by Horsecart, (2) Visit to Crocodile Breeding Centre, (3) Visit to Sauraha and Kasara museums and (4) Most authentic tribal dance.

Note: In the wet months (June -October) when Jungle drive is not possible an extra elephant back safari will be offered instead. For all types of package tours, airfare, airport transfers, car rent and bar will be at extra charge. All meals, welcome and farewell drinks are included. Transport in tourist bus and rooms on double sharing basis. Free pickup and drop from Chitrasari. About US $ 30 is paid for park entrance fee and elephant back safari.

A-1 Deluxe Package 3 Nights-4 days Tour

RestaurantHighlights of the package: Welcome drink, Orientation, Village walk, Canoeing, Nature walk, and Bird watching, Short walk on tiger trails, Picnic lunch by the deep jungle lake, about five hours of jungle drive covering nearly 35 percent of the National Park in one day. Elephant ride, Camp fire, Bar-be-que, Exotic meals, Deluxe rooms on double sharing basis; enchanting tribal stick dance and farewell drink etc.
Tariff: US $ 190 for Indians and Nepalese IRS. 4,000 or NRS. 6,400 p.p by tourist bus.


A-2 Deluxe Safari "Tiger Hunting with Camera"

Arrival at Bharatpur Airport by air or Chitrasari by car or by tourist bus. Pick up and drive to Tiger Camp by our jeep or horsecart;

Day 1

  1. Welcome drink and orientation;
  2. Freshen-up rest and coffee / tea and snacks or Chinese or Tibetan Lunch depending on the time of your arrival.
  3. Visit to the wildlife museum and village walk; Horsecart drive to Elephant Breeding Centre.
  4. Six items Nepali meal or clay oven Mugalie (Tandoori) dishes.
  5. Slide show on request.

Day 2

  1. Canoeing and very short jungle walk to watch crocodiles and birds.
  2. Breakfast at river-bank near Charara (boiled eggs and fruits).
  3. Deep jungle walk in the tiger trails in Gaur Machan Area.
  4. Packed picnic lunch at or near Gaur Bison View Tower (shrimps or mixed chowmein or Muglie mixed rolls). rest Get into the waiting jeep and drive to Lami Tal (Lake).
  5. Bird watching at Lami Tal, visit to Crocodile Breeding Centre and Park H.Q. museum at Kasara.
  6. Deep Jungle drive up to Tamor Lake area, tea / coffee wildlife viewing.
  7. Slow drive to Tiger Camp waiting and watching wildlife on the way back.
  8. Dinner (Italian or rum steak or mixed shasleek bar-be-que) followed by tribal stick and cultural dances.

Day 3 

  1. Breakfast
  2. Elephant back safari (8-9 am).
  3. Farewell drink.
  4. Departure by Car / Plane / Bus.

A-3 Deluxe 2 Nights and 3 Days Package

Program includes orientation, village walk, elephant Breeding Centre by horse cart, canoeing, bird watching, short walk on tiger trails, picnic lunch by the deep jungle view tower (if the guests wish) camp-fire, bar-be-cue and exotic meals, enchanting tribal stick dance, welcome and farewell drinks etc.

Tariff: US $ 135 P.P. for Indian and Nepalese IRs 2,800 and NRs 4,500 P.P. Extra for jungle drive $ 15 or NRs 750.

A-4      Deluxe 1 Night and 2 Days Safari Package without Jungle Drive

If you do not have time of 2 nights in the National Park, it is still possible for you to take village walk, visit to Sauraha museum and Elephant Breeding Centre in the first day afternoon. On the second day you can have Elephant Back safari. If you have time you can take 4-5 hours jungle drive at extra charge in the afternoon and depart at around 6 p.m.

Tariff: For accommodation in deluxe rooms on double sharing basis: US $ 85 P.P. for overseas tourist and for Indians and Nepalese IRs. 1,890 and NRs. 3000 P.P.

Standard (Student and Youth) Package Tours

Note : In all the standard package tour viz. B-1, B-2 and B-3, there will be extra charge for jungle drive (US $ 15 or NC 750 P.P) and "whole day deep jungle walk cum-picnic lunch" (US $ 15 or Nc 750 P.P)

B-1 Standard 3 Nights 4 Days Package Tour (for student and youth)

In 3 nights 4 days standard package tour, your activities are spread to be conducted in a more relaxed manner. However, you can either have jungle drive or whole day jungle walk at extra charge. This package includes welcome drink and orientation, visit to Sauraha Museum, village walk, visit to Elephant Breeding Centre, elephant back safari, bird watching-com-nature walk and farewell drink, all meals, accommodation in Machan rooms on stilts (with common bath or in standard rooms attached bath) both on double sharing basis.

Tariff: US$ 155 for Indians and IRs 3.000 or NRs. 4800 P.P.

B-2 Standard Package 2 Nights 3 Days (for youth and adventures)

Normally the itinerary will be like this: Pick-up by our jeep and welcome drink. After check-in and orientation, lunch or snacks will be served. After visit to Sauraha Museum and village walk, you will be taken to the community forest for canoeing and visit to the Elephant Breeding Centre and back by horse cart. Slide show on request. For dinner Mugalie or Nepali meal will be served. You can relax after dinner listening to the sound of jungle and / or gazing stars. Next morning (on day-2) after early breakfast you start the half day jungle walk, lunch in the resort and elephant back safari in the late afternoon. After hot shower join campfire and bar-be-cue, tribal culture and stick dance. On the third day morning, bird watching in the very early hours, after breakfast and farewell drinks departure by jeep to bus stop. Lodging in the famous "Bamboo Machan Rooms" on stilts with common bathrooms or in standard rooms attached bathrooms on double sharing basis.

B-3 1 Night 2 Days Standard Package Tour

In 1 night 2 days package, it will be possible for you to visit Sauraha museum, go for village walk and visit Elephant Breeding Centre on the first day if you arrive before 2 p.m. On the second day you can have elephant back safari and if your time permits take 4-5 hours jungle drive in the afternoon (at extra cost) before departing at around 6 p.m. Lodging in "Machan" standard rooms (on double sharing basis).

Tariff: US$ 75 for overseas tourist and for Indians and Nepalese IRs 1,300 or NRs 2,100 p.p.
