he usual trekking season starts from September to May. During the remainder of the year, Monsoon makes travelling wet and offers little in the way of mountain views. But some treks that cross high passes are better attempted in months other than December and January becauseof the heavy snow fall in some parts of the country. The temperature rises considerably under altitudes of 3000 ft. in April and May in some parts of the country, therefore it is wise to plan accordingly.
