Tamang Expeditions is run by a small group of guides who have been working in mountain tourism sector for years, and want to continue their effort to provide good services loving their own country's nature and culture. The company is named after Tamang people an ethnic hill tribe of Nepal, who earned significant name and fame in mountaineering and trekking sector. TE is entirely registered at the office of Industrial and Administration, Department of Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation for arrangement of tourism related services to the tourists in Nepal and beyond.

TE members share a concern over the cultural and natural environmental impacts of mountain tourism, and are certified participants of conservation-oriented, first aid and other field training and workshops. We have been sharing our spirit with different environmental and cultural organization and government norms for the promotion of sustainable tourism, minimizing the negative impacts of tourism.

Tamang Expeditions understands that- safety is the most important aspect of any adventure travel and also it's very important to have chosen a quality staff to produce a quality service. All our guides are extensively trained in adventure travel safety. And our each guides have excellency records from the past and they are selected not only for holding the job but to do that through right way. The office staffs in Kathmandu give you all the answers you need. Upon arrival, you will receive answers of each burning questions such as, where should you change money, where should you eat and where shouldn't, how to deal with Nepalese shopkeepers, etc. Before the trip our staffs provide the extensive pre departure information, so you will be mentally and physically ready for the trip you going. Mountaineering tents, our own duffel bags for your luggage, any other necessary equipment and expert crews make your trips comfortable, safe and successful.
