"MHA
PUJA (Nhu daya 1120) Celebration in
Sydney" On saturday 20th November 1999, Guthi Australia celebrated their annual
"Mha Puja Day" at 20 Brookfield Road, Werrington Down with the biggest gathering
of all its members and their invited guests. All the members present in Sydney that day
were all there and we even managed to have a small brief meeting amidst all the various
schedules taking place. Surendra the present "guthi nayo" proposed to handover
his "thakali" role to Puran Sayemi, but was postponed untill June next year for
the "Siti Nakha" ceremony. We also managed to fit in a presentation ceremony to
celebrate the birth of Yuva and Madhavi's daughter Priya in the presence of Madhavi's
parent. All the happenings and events can be seen on the photographs below: I will be
updating with more photos as I get them from various members who send them to me as well
as a new newsletter which Surendra is preparing.
