Introduction Bhutan-3 Nts/4 Days

Day Mon 01 Fly  Kathmandu to PARO on Druk-Air. You will be met at the airport and provided transfer to Thimpu (65Kms./2hrs. Approx.) O/N hotel.
Day Tue 02 Thimpu: Full day local sightseeing tour.AM: Visit Zeleukha Nunnery, National Library and Memorial Chorten of His Majesty Late Jigme Dorjee Wangchouk. PM: Walk down town to the Handicraft Development Corporation which displays all kinds of traditional handicraft products of Bhutan.
Day Wed 03 Thimpu-Paro (65 kms./2hrs.)- AM: After break fast drive leisurely to Paro. PM: Drive through the Paro valley to see the Drukgyel Dzong/Kyichu Lhakhang. One a clear day one can see the Majestic Jhomolhari Mountain or better know as The Mountain of Goddess (7314 mts.) Also visit the National Museum located in the Ta Dzong which displays a rich collection of fine arts and weapons. O/Nt. Hotel.
Day Thu 04 Drive to airport for your flight, back to Kathmandu or else where.

 

Bhutan tour-4 Nights/5 days:

Day Thu/  01 Fly to Paro and upon arrival meet, assist and drive to Thimpu (65 km/2hrs) O/nt. hotel.
Day Fri/  02 Thimpu- Full day local sightseeing tour. AM Visit the Memorial Chorten of the Late King Jigme Dorjee Wangchuk in the heart of Thimpu town/The Tashichhodzong, "The fortress of the auspicious Religion." PM : Stroll downtown to the Handicraft Development Corporation which displays all kinds of traditional handicraft products of Bhutan. O/nt. Hotel.
Day Sat/  03 Thimpu-Paro (65 kms/2hrs.)
PM: Drive through the Paro valley to see the Drukgyel Dzong/Kyichu Lhakhang. On a clear day one can see the white doomed majestic Jhomolhari Mountain or better known as the Mountain of Goddess (7314 mts.) Also visit the National Museum located in the TA Dzong which displays a rich collection of fine arts and weapons. O/Nt. Hotel.
Day Sun/  04 Paro: Excursion to Taktsang Lhakang. AM: After breakfast drive to Sartsham Cherten and then two hours of horse riding uphill will take you to the Taktsang cafeteria. After refreshment a short trek to the view famous Taktsang Lhakhang also know as the tigers nest. PM: After lunch a slow downhill trek to Sartsham Chorten and then drive to hotel. O/nt. Hotel.
Day Mon/05 Transfer to Airport  for  flight  to Kathmandu.

Day Mon/Thu 01 Fly to Paro and drive to Thimpu (65 kms./2hrs.) O/nt. Hotel.
Day Tue/Fri 02 Thimpu: Full day local sightseeing tour. PM: Visit the historic Punakha Dzong, once the seat of the old capital of Bhutan. The magnificent Dzong is sprawled between the Phochu and Mochu rivers. O/nt. Hotel.
Day Thu/Sun 04 Punakha-Bhumanthang (210 kms./8 hrs. approx.) AM: Early morning drive to the valley of Bhumanthang through the Yotola Pass (3400 mts.). This valley is considered a very sacred place for the Bhutanese with many temples and holy places. O/nt. at Bhumanthang Tourist Lodge.
Day Fri/Mon 05 Bhumanthang: Full day sightseeing.AM: Drive to Mebartsho (Burning Lake). This gorge is the holy site and pilgrimage place Guru Rimpoche had hidden religious treasures later discovered by Terton Pema Lingpa. Visit the Swiss Farm where you can buy excellent local made cheese. PM: Visit the jakar Dzong (castle of white bird). Built in 1549 this Dzong houses the administrative center of Bhumanthang. Visit Kurjey Lhakang, the most sacred and popular monastery in Bhumanthang. O/nt, at Bhumanthang Tourist Lodge.
Day Sat/Tue 06 Bhumanthang-Thimpu (267 kms./8 hrs. approx.) AM: Early morning drive to Thimpu via Tongsa and Wangdiphodrang. O/nt. Hotel.
Day Sun/Wed 07 Thimpu-Paro (65 mks./2hrs.) AM: Visit Drukgyel Dzong/Kyichu Lhakang & The National Museum. PM: Excursion to Taktsang Lhakang.
Day Mon/Thu 08 Drive to airport for your flight or exit by overland.
